Salon or on location stylist recommendations

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good salon to get my hair and make-up done at on my wedding day?  I'm looking for a place preferably in Downtown, Milwaukee, but I'm open to the suburbs if I could save some money.

Or if anyone knows of a good on location stylist that does hair and makeup, I'd appreciate that info also!

How much do people typically spend on bridal hair and makeup?  Any help would be appreciated very much! : )

    the numbers I am seeing for bridal hair around around $50-60.  For makeup I've seen it around $35.  I don't know if this is the average or not.

    I know a couple of Madison people have suggested Bride Heads.  They travel to your location.  I know someone in Milwaukee on this board used them.  They are $50 for an updo, and $30 for makeup. I'm pretty sure it's the cheapest place I've seen.  I think they charge for travel outside Madison, but it's not that bad.  GL

    My hairstylist was Hair by Jasmine and I was very very happy with the outcome.  I had extensions, wore it down with a little up in the front to hold the veil.  It was beautiful.  I used the make up artist that she recommended and her name was Tricia.  I believe that Hair by Jasmine has moved to Brookfield, WI but I'm sure you could Google it and find her.  The make up artist was $35 and I don't exactly remember what the cost for the hair stylist was because I had to buy the extensions and everything.  I do remember expecting it to cost more than it actually did in the end.  I hope this helps!

    I went to Neroli in Brookfield, but they also have a location in the 3rd Ward.  Definitely would recommend Neroli, both locations have gotten good reviews on the boards in the past.
