What do you think about having my BM's carry Parasols instead of Bouqets? Having a spring wedding, i thought it would be super cute, and much cheaper.

At first, my FH was "EHh, Cant we do it the traditional way?" but now its... "Whatever you wanna do baby" haha.

    I think this would work if you are having the wedding outside.  Also if it is more of a southern theme i think it would fit as well.  It can definitely be done if you do it correctly.

    is your wedding outdoors?  parasols indoors is a little weird, but outdoors would be fine.

    Agreed. Outdoors yes, indoors maybe something else, like kissing balls? Fans might also work inside. You could decorate them with flowers and ribbon. 

    If it is inside and you are set on parasols, get them for outdoor pictures. That's what I am doing!

    I agree as well that for an outdoors ceremony this would work perfectly but indoors would seem a little off.

    I am getting married April 2012 as well and my girls will be carrying fans instead of bouquets. It's supposed to be outside, but if it rains (April Showers) then it will of course be inside and I dont care, they will still carry the fans, lol. I love the idea of parasols as well, maybe think of buying fans as a back up in case it rains.
