  I was at a wedding last year at a state park in Shelby Township, they got married by the water and a few yards away they had sent up a huge tent for the reception. I cannot remember the exact location, sorry!

  If you use the link at the top of the above, there are other Metro Parks that have wedding options, Indian Springs has a building, I think it's called the Discovery Center or something like that.
  
  I know Crank's Catering used to do the catering at Stony Creek before, not sure they still do. Their info here:

  Really, your options are very much open and I could suggest probably 1,000 places.  With that in mind, do you have an idea what kind of look you are going for?  Is price a concern?  Are your guests going to be coming from all over metro-Detroit or will they be more from one area?

  Hi there!  Thanks for the reponse!  What would be your top 5 suggestions.  I would say price is a concern, as we do not want to over do it....!
  
  So far I feel like I keep running into meadowbrook hall which only has the last weeking of October left- not sure I am crazy about that..
