We are having our outdoor garden ceremony and reception in the same location. The garden is located across a small parking lot from the reception hall.
Our ceremony is at 4pm, and will last approximately 30 to 40 minutes. We are going to have a receiving line as guests leave the ceremony space, and stay in the garden for some immediate family pics afterwards. The reception hall will be open at 5pm and the bar area and a full salad bar with appetizers and bread will be available at that time.
Do we need to offer food or drinks before or after our ceremony? The option is available, but my friends and family think it's a waste of money......what do you think?
