Okay, invitations went out today. YEAH.
But FI and I were planning on sending the RD invites out once we got the RSVPs from the invites. We are inviting all OOT guests, but thought we could wait.
It seems like FI told all his guests via email about the RD, but I haven't. I can email them, but I also added somethign to our website for our guests. Note: Kids, except FI's neice and nephew, are not invited to the wedding; however, some guests are bringing their kids and parents here for the weekend, but not to the wedding.
Does this sound okay:
"For all of our out of town guests traveling to Sarasota for the weekend, we would love for you to join us at our Rehearsal Dinner on Friday, February 5th at 5:30 p.m. Kids, grandparents, and any other folks who traveled here with you are invited as well. Formal invitation to follow."
Re: Question.
that sounds good!
And I agree to send the actual RD invites until you get RSVPs in. Doesn't make sense to send out invites if people aren't even coming into town for the wedding.
