Wedding Invitations & Paper

Capitalization?

I'm trying to order my invitations online. I entered all my information, and when I went to preview it, all the letters were in lower case. Are invitations supposed to be in title case where every "important" word is capitalized or in sentence format where just the first letter is? Here's mine, and I'm wondering what all needs to be capitalized:

mr. and mrs. john doe
request the honor of your presence
of their daughter

ME
to
HIM

saturday, the twenty-ninth of september
two thousand and twelve
at seven o'clock in the evening

reception to follow at
PLACE

Thank you for your help!!

I'd capitalize the importants words (besides of, to, and, etc...) because it seems like a formal invite.

Honestly, just play around with it...if you like the look of all lowercase then do it.  just don't put everything in caps because it's LIKE YOU'RE BEING YELLED AT haha.

    Here's what ours will say:

     David and Christina
    are getting married!

Please join us on Sunday, October 28 2012
    at Calvary Pentecostal Church
    in Lindsay at 3:00

Join us again for the reception
at Lakeview Arts Barn in Bobcaygeon
    from 6:00-11:00
  • Perhaps its the font you have chosen?  Some fonts appear to only be in lower case.  If even your names were lower case, I would think its the font.
  • Awesome! Thanks. It is a church ceremony, which is why we went with that wording.

Do you capitalize Guest in "and Guest"?
