Day of Coordinator?

We're on a really tight budget, but I think we're going to splurge to get a day of coordinator for a few reasons:

1)  Our venue is 100% DIY, so we have to set up everything from tables and chairs to decorations, and we can't get into the venue to set up until about 9 am the day of the wedding.  I don't want to be stressed about trying to get things done while worrying about my hair and makeup getting done too...

2)  I want it to look professional and put together, not like we just threw it together ourselves.  I think a professional would be able to make it look a lot nicer.

3)  I don't want to have to have any friends or family have to miss the ceremony in order to get the venue set up.

So, now I need to find someone!   Any recommendations???  If you used a DOC, about how much did it end up costing?  Thanks! :-)

    My friend Megan Helfrich just finished her certificate in wedding planning (she orginally graduated with a BA in communications).  She served as one of my friends day of coordinator and my friend was so pleased!  My friend, like you, had a bunch of DIY (Candy buffet, shutters for place cards, special cake table decor, etc.) and Megan made sure everything was perfect.  She met with the bride like a couple weeks before the wedding and talked with her about how everything should be, took photos as a reference and helped her pack everything up so she knew where everything was for the big day. 
    She is the perfect blend of bubbley, fun and OCD.  I would recommend her highly!

    I have a good friend that has a wedding coordinator business.  She lives in the Irwin area but does work all around the Pittsburgh area.

    I may be biased but she is great and has given me so much good advice already!

    We are using Sumer Schmitt with SImply Perfect Weddings. She has been really helpful with vendor reviews and any help I've needed thus far in planning. I highly recommend her and I think her pricing was very reasonable.

    We are using Sumer as well.  We hired her for full planning, which includes DOC.  I cannot recommend her enough!!!  PRICELESS!
