Surprise Work Shower!!

My office just surprised me with a shower!!! Sooooo nice of them!! They gave us our everyday dishes too!! Also, one woman I work with gave us a set of our everyday towels!!  Sooooo nice of them to do and I was honestly shocked because I thought my office only did baby showers, not wedding! The food was great too, wraps, salad, fruit, cookies! Can't wait to take some home for FI to enjoy too!

My family is also throwing a shower for me (surprise) but I know when it is. Wonder how well I'll do faking surprise at that one!

    That's awesome.  I wish FI and I worked in an office like yours.  I don't think that anyone will do anything for FI and I here.  Most people are very catty here.  Last time someone got married, (this past July), the people planning the "shower" didn't even tell them managers until about 4:55 the day before.  Then one person went around the office to tell people that there was food in the lunch room didn't even bother "inviting" me.  I really hate my job sometimes...

    Aw, nice! Everyone at work keeps hinting that I'll get one, but we're so busy this time of year that I'm not holding my breath, ha. ;) Nice that they got you such good gifts. And free food at work is the best!

    Thats really nice! Dishes and towels are really nice, I would enjoy that gift! I'm glad you had a nice surprise!

    (My team has told me to MAKE SURE I am here on Sept 26, so its not too much a surprise LOL)

    I know ill get one but I just hope its different than the last brides...we all brought food and gifts and no one got to see her open anything and we just had to grab the food on our break..it was like stop and drop, grab and go. What kind of BS is that. I was kind of angry I spent money on her and don't even know if she liked it!!!
