Where should I go for alterations???

Hey Ladies :)
I bought my dress from Demetrio's in Legacy Village, but shortly after ordering the dress, I read some really REALLY terrible reviews online about their alterations department.  So, when the dress came in, I decided to pick it up and take it elseware.  Our wedding is in 5 weeks... I need to take it in this week.  Can anyone suggest a great alteration place?  The reviews I keep reading about various shops are terrifying!
Thanks!

Hey Kaz, I also got my gown from Demetrio's in Legacy Village and like you I read the horrible reviews.Frown On my first visit, I expressed my concerns over the reviews I read online. The manager pointed out to me that the posts are over a year old and the staff had been revamped. I have to give the ladies of Demetrio's (alterations included) a huge Thank You!  Along with my gown, my MOH, MOB and sister purchased their gowns  and all were altered there and there were no problems! Staff was accomodating and sweet, you can trust them with your gown! hope this post helps....Kiss

I had my alterations done by Julianne's Bridal outlet in Olmsted Falls. They'll work on any dress from any shop and Denise, the seamstress, does GREAT work for a very reasonable price. She also altered a BM gown (from Catan Bridal) for me when I was in my brother's wedding a year later. Both times, I was very pleased with her work. Highly recommend! IMO, she'd be worth the drive to the west side. Make an afternoon of it and have lunch nearby at Clementine's or Bistro du Beaujolais (both within walking distance).

Good luck with whatever you decide!

    I have 2 suggestions:
1 - Galleria Gowns in Willoughby Hills.  I believe they take outside alterations.  My BM dresses came from there.  My sister waited until she came into town to try her dress and of course there was a major issue.  They fixed it in 2 days.  Very good service here.
2 - Euclid Tailoring on E. 222nd st.  This place looks like nothing from the outside so don't be afraid.  She has altered many, many things for me.  Also my SIL's wedding dress.  Old-world, European quality.

    Good luck!
