Oh wait, I kinda finished shower Thank You's....1.5 months later! And even then Im 2 cards short. Gr.

My florist is allowing me to set my payment back a few weeks til I finish school. Woohoo.

Well, it's 4 months for me as of today/tomorrow. Yikes! You two ladies must be super excited being just over a month away!

Last weekend, I upated our registries while Vibol was out of town since my shower invites are going out shortly.

We're going to my parents house this weekend so I suspect we will do A LOT. Hopefully we can get the invites made in the next few weeks.

I had flower disaster over the weekend (detailed in previous post).... but I guess it's sort of a check.... I mean... they did get delivered, and they were pretty... I am just uncoordinated, I guess.

Paid off the honeymoon (gulp)... feels good to know its paid for, but still a little disappointed with the honeymoon registry.

Talked to our photog... she said our e-pics book/ guest book is almost ready and will be sending files of the cleaned up pics for us to see. Can't wait... every time I talk to her I am so happy that we found her. She's the best!!

3rd dance lesson last night. No injuries. This is a defnite improvement.

We might try to work on our seating plan over the weekend... yay (sarcasm font).

My local b-party is now in the works and I am super psyched!!! My moh is in Michigan and was trying to hold on to the planning reigns pretty tightly, but finally admitted that she couldn't plan it from so far away (and now can't even attend), so my local ladies took over and wham bam WINE TOUR!!! I am soooooo happy and can't wait til May 21!!! Bridgett- I will toast to ya hun... while you are putting on the ball and chain, I will be enjoying my last fling!!!

Starting to make appts to finalize plans w/ DJ, photog, priest, etc.... it's getting real now.

We booked our honeymoon!! We went with the place we were looking at already in St. Martin, same one that kkozlo is staying at, actually. Haven't booked airfare yet, but we'll probably do that within the next couple of months. (This is for a December trip, so we still have some time.) I cannot wait to relax on beautiful beaches and eat amazing food!! Wish I was going tomorrow.

Still no invitations...stationary lady is taking a long time to get back to me.

That's it so far, but the honeymoon is one of my favorite checks!

I am so extremely excited. Tomorrow is 1 month. Yikes! The nerves are kickin in just a bit. Im pretty sure once Im done with my last school assignment (May 4th) Ill be full nerves.

My B-party is May 7th (gotta hop on that guest list for my MOHs)

Josh's B-Party is the 14th

Wedding May 21.

Put that way...AHHHH! Ive been engaged for 2 freakin years and Im 4 weekends away. Oh hey nerves, there you be!

Yikes one month!!! I'm scared to think of how I'll be at that point lol. Anyways ive got a few things done this week, I ordered my passport and we booked our honeymoon to ocho rios, Jamaica! Can't wait!:) we also booked our night of hotel room, and this weekend were meeting with our reception venue coordinator to finish up a couple more things. Everythings moving along too quickly! Lol

All my bridesmaids dresses are in except my little sister's because hers was just ordered. No rush on hers, we have over 3 months. We brought one of the dresses with us to 2 different tuxedo places. WTF?? My color is cobalt (Alfred Angelo), it seems David's Bridal has contracts w/everyone and their brother to carry their blue which is Horizon. So far I've been pretty laid back about everything (I think I'm a pretty low-maintenance bride), but really Alfred Angelo? You're like one of the biggest chains in the freakin industry and you didn't think to buddy up w/a tux company colorwise? So, we have non-blue options or minimal blue (less noticable clashing). I'm not happy.

That's a little crazy that AA doesn't have a mainstream tux shop they work with... hmm.... but I really wouldn't worry about clashing.... just go with what's closest and relax... sometimes slightly different shades of the same color compliment very nicely.

AA Cobalt is my color too! My BM dresses just came in but they all got shipped to various parts of the country so I won't be able to see them on anyone yet; I'm not sure I've seen more than a color swatch of the cobalt, actually. Good to know about the tux thing; we haven't started looking yet, but will probably just go with basic black.

You could always have the GMs wear silver or platinum (slightly darker)... both go nicely w/ blue.

ahhh. I haven't been around in weeks... my mom is getting married next Sunday, so I've been super crazy. Monday we had a girls getaway to Mirbeau, it was really nice, but I don't recommend eating lunch there (it sucked!).
We haven't made any recent wedding progress of our own, and we've got just under 5 months to go. I did most everything so early, that all that's left to do can be done in June and July and we'll be good to go.
For the other AA brides - I was told to go to tuxedo corner in Rochester, that they partner with them for colors. They even gave me a gift certificate for 2 free tuxs, and the rest of the wedding group is 39.99. I bought directly from the Ridegeway Ave store in Greece... I don't know if its just a local thing in Roc, but might be worth the trip for you!
