  • I remember at my cousin's DW in Idaho, she had a lot of things with huckleberries in them. The huckleberry ribs were awesome :-)

  • Honestly, nothing sticks out as good or bad.  I can't remember anything in particular.

  • I've had baked chicken and gravy at every wedding I've ever been to..lol. Its like the cheapest option and everybody gets it. It wasn't bad, its just redundant. So I will NOT be having it at mine. We're having two selections, most likely salmon and steak or soe kind of meat. There will of course be a vegetarian option.

I've only been to a handful and they were standard chicken mashed potatoes and veggie side.

The food at the weddings I've been to is pretty basic. My aunt's wedding cake was amazing though as well as the desserts.

  • I don't remember the food from a lot of the weddings I've attended. I think my best and worst were at the same wedding though. They had 7 courses AFTER they had a massive cocktail hour. Most of the food was amazing, but my duck entree was massive and not that great. The side was some odd polenta like cake that was just really dry. By that point, I'd had so much other food though, so I was pretty full (and there were 2-3 more courses).

The only other dish I remember specifically was the veal parmesan at my friend's family style dinner that was fantastic! It was the one dish they had to bring more of to our table.

Better to be forgotten than to be remembered for being bad!

  • I almost always get the chicken option. I've been to two weddings where I had beef. One was a buffet where they gave everyone a little of everything. Both the chicken and beef were really dry. The other was at a country club and I chose the filet. I thought mine was delicious, but not everyone agreed. The main reason, I think, was because everyone likes there steak cooked differently and they weren't cooked to order. That is the reason we will probably skip steak at our reception.

  • Nothing sticks out to me, so I hope ours is amazing! Even though most of our guest are excited about the homemade cookie table!!!
