Cool indoor St. Louis reception sites which would allow my own catering?

I'm looking for a good deal on a really nice indoor reception site which won't bind me to paying per plate or limit me to using only a select few caterers on a preferred caterers list. Does anyone know of any locales which would allow me to have my own family caterer provide food?

    What part of STL are you from? (roundabouts)

    There's a cute little historic building in WashMO that has amazing prices and lets you use any vendor you want-for anything. No joke. Called the Washington Brewery.

    There is a place called the Quail Ridge Lodge in Wentzville, MO with the St. Charles Park District.  Very cool place and relatively inexpensive;we are just worried about having to do everything ourselves.

    You could also do the Jewel Box in Forest Park. Its a greenery with beautiful flowers. Its a gorgeous glass building.
