Adding "extras" to wedding dress...

....has anyone or is anyone planning on doing extensive alterations to their dress? I am considering (now that I have MORE TIME) on having some extra work done to my dress. For starters it's a halter and I'm not 100% sure how I feel so I was thinking of coverting it to strapless. I also want to add a few rhinestone embellishments to give it a little pop...in addition to the other needed alterations...
Just wanted to know if anyone else has done this and/or has pics?

    My hem alone cost 150 and another 50 for the bustling so I have no more money to spend on my dress. HOWEVER, if I had the money I would change the back zipper to one of those lace up backs like a corset. I love those things.

    I was also considering adding the corset as well...I think it might help more since it's "adjustable"...the zipper tends to be less forgiving.
    I would not be spending anymore either honestly girl but since we had to move the date back I'm going to spend what I originally wanted to spend for the Maggie Sottero dress I didn't get because it wouldn've have arrived in time. Now I figure I might as well have some fun and add some customization to it! :)

    I am adding extras. I'm having the top altered into a sweetheart neckline and I am also adding a strap and belt to give it some bling. I go for my first fitting next weekend.
