old knottie here...trying to help friend. Venue went bankrupt

I'm a BM in my friends wedding. She found out today that her venue went bankrupt and she can't have her wedding there anymore. Her wedding date is/was July 8

She needs a place she can bring in own caterer, dj, etc She's invited 150 people

She'd like it down in Clear Lake Area if possible.  Her venue was The White House Ranch

EDIT: she'd prefer CL area but is open to anything really at this point

good gawd they still have that annoying as crap knot tv?!

What about The Admiral on Clear Lake?

Try Garten Verein down in Galveston.  They can easily fit that many people, and you bring all your own stuff in besides chairs and tables.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the Admiral on Clear Lake as well. What about Centurion Palace in League City.

Also, maybe Butler's Courtyard? I am not sure if they allow outside caterers though.

Also, it is in Galveston, but The Lyceum allows all kinds of outside vendors. I wish you the best of luck.
And now we are as one

I was reading on another poster's thread that even though they filed for bankrupt, they're still doing the weddings. She might still be able to have her wedding there, have you checked?

Ya, annoying knot tv... i wish there was an option to get rid of it!!

Is she getting a full refund? I feel that the Admiral is expensive for what you get but that is just my opinion. Butler's Courtyard is amazing but it is an all-inclusive set up, you have a list of a few of their vendors to chose from for most everything. I know it is not Clear Lake but Garten Verein in Galveston is gorgeous and super reasonable. I tried to plan my wedding in Clear Lake as well but found nothing that really meet all of my needs until I branched out to Galveston and checked out this venue. We loved it and booked it on the spot!

Also try Kemah Gardens. They even have a B&B for the bride and groom to stay on the night of the wedding, or for a few guests who have traveled far. I believe they only have two rooms, but it's worth a try.

I cannot think of the name, but there is a new place that you can see nestled off 45 south near 518 area too.

I would say Admiral on Clear Lake if you want to bring everything in yourself.  If not, I would recommend South Shore Harbour Country Club (I just got married there last month and it was terrific).  There is also Butler's Courtyard and Bay Oaks Country Club in Clear Lake.

Hidden Palms in Santa Fe will let you bring in your own vendors as well.

We are getting married at Butler's Courtyard and it is all inclusive.  You have to use their vendors as far as catering, cake, and DJ.
