Linen Napkins - Size Question

Hi ladies-

I want to buy my black linen napkins from LinenTablecloth.com.  I need 12 dozen and had planned to go with the 17 in. at $6.69 per dozen.

However, today while browsing I found 11 in. black napkins in the clearance section for only $2.50 per dozen. If I go with these instead it will save me about $50.

My question is - does an 11 in. napkin seem too small for dinner?

    Yes, they seem too small...in fact they seem like more of a cocktail napkin size then a dinner napkin size.

    Think about when you go out to dinner and they have cloth napkins.  When you put it in your lap it generally covers your whole lap...the 11 inch napkin will not do this.
