Jamaica Destination Wedding Advice

Hi, My fiance and I are thinking of having our destination wedding in Jamaica!  There are soo many resorts that we are having a very difficult time even narrowing down our options.  We need a resort that will allow children to attend the ceremony and are looking for a relaxed, romantic, all-inclusive experience for ourselves and between 20-40 guests.

Does anyone have any suggestions for resorts? Is anyone planning to get married (or has already been married) in Jamaica that can offer some suggestions or advice?  I'm extremely excited but a bit overwhelmed with this decision!  Smile

Thanks for any advice or suggestions you may have!

  • Welcome!  I am getting married in Negril, Jamaica at Couples Swept Away on September 10, 2011.  Unfortunately they do no allow children so I am not much help, but Jamaica is such a beautiful location!

  • Congrats and welcome to the board! My FI and I are getting married in Montego Bay Jamaica this September at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. You may want to check into the resort because they offer all different price ranges and does allow children on the property. HTH and good luck!

  • Hi!  I got married at Sandals Royal Caribbean, but I would also suggest a Beaches.  While at the airport I noticed another bride and her family with small children going there.
  • Hi! I am getting married at the Beaches Negril on October 9, 2011.  We chose this resort becuase it does allow children and we have a 17 month old son :) We will also be having about 15 friends and family there.  Our honeymoon will be at Sandals Negril!  I am very excited!  Let me know if you have any questions :)
