7.8.11 Wedding - Vendor Reviews

We were married on 7.8.11 at The Vanderbilt of South Beach in Staten Island.  Let me first start by complimenting the Vanderbilt's staff for their professionalism and attention to detail.  The place looked amazing.  Mike, our bridal suite attendant, was the greatest!  He ran back & forth all night & always made sure we had everything needed.  Keith, who ran the event, was excellent as well.  He circulated the room and made sure that everything was running smoothly.  Sal coordinated the event and did an amazing job.  He answered all of our questions.

Dash of Class provided the music for our event.  They kept the dance floor packed all night and everyone loved the music!  It is a month later and people are still telling me how great the music was and how much fun they had.  I worked for Dash of Class for too many years to count and would always hear couple's rave about how great they were.  I was finally able to experience it firsthand at my own wedding.  They played everything that I wanted to hear and helped me with song choices.

Visual Image did the video and photography for our event.  The pictures are amazing!  I cannot believe some of the pictures that they took.  I cannot wait to see the edited video of our special day.

Petals on Page did the flowers.  I wanted tropical centerpieces and June created beautiful ones.  The bouquets she made for me and my bridesmaids were unreal.  I have never seen anything like them.

Solamar Travel helped us book our honeymoon.  Fred was very helpful and friendly.  He recommended Excellence Resorts in Rivera Maya, Cancun and we were not disappointed.

We went to a wedding at Nanina's in the Park a few years back that a Dash of Class was the DJ.  The joke was "not a pinch- but a dash"!  They ROCKED-- played music that got everyone out there and stayed out there.

I read your review and giggled.  It's a hard name to forget.  (We were also at a wedding with Body Heat band--- that was also very funny!)
