The Glen Club

Hi ladies, I'm interested in any information about The Glen Club in Glenview, IL.  We are just about to book there.  Mainly, I'm interested in the service and the food. Did you enjoy the food?  Was the service quick and friendly?  Were they willing to negotiate in your contract at all?

Any and all information would be greatly appreicated.  Thanks!

    My wedding is there on September 3rd, but we have had so much contact with Isabella, as well as already had our tasting, so I may be able to give you some info.  The service is great, and we do eat at their restaurant a bit when visting my parents.  Our tasting was so delicious, and I have been raving about the food to my maids since then.  Isabella is also very quick to return emails, etc if you have questions, and I know that my wedding is in good hands.

    However, it is a popular place in the northern burbs, so I do not know how much they would budge on the contract.  We didn't negotiate, as I had researched a bunch of places in the area and it seemed pretty much on par with what the others.  Isabella is very open, though, so you may want to check it out.  I will let you know more in four weeks!  Hope this helps!

    I just booked there for next August!  The wedding garden and ballroom are absolutely beautiful!  Isabella is great, she really has it together.  They are pretty flexible with menu choices, we have a lot of guests that need a Kosher dinner option, so we're able to change sauces and things like that if we need to.  They have meal options, but they also have combination plates so it can be a little cheaper.  The good thing is, the package includes the food, the alcohol, and the cake!  One less thing I have to worry about.
