    Charleston, SC...we picked a city that we have both wanted to visit that is also romantic and could be a place we can visit with our family one day without passports or flights.

    Our honeymoon has to wait until our pocketbooks catch up!


    But when we get the money I would like to do Belize, Costa Rica, or Chile.  I have friends who just honeymooned in Egypt and loved it!

    we are spending two weeks in argentina...going to buenos aires, iguazu falls, the patagonia, and the wine region!  can't wait!

    We're going to Montreal.  From what I've heard from friends who have been there, it has the European feel without being so far away... and the exchange rate is much better!

    We are going to the Maldives and then two days in Dubai. Meredithcheek you are going to love Argentina, I went two years ago and had the BEST time. The absolute best steak I've ever eaten, ever!

    We're going to Hilton Head Island, SC.  We're flying from New Orleans to Jacksonville Florida and then we rented a convertible to drive the two hours up the east coast to the island. I can't wait!  I hear it is beautiful.

    nola103109- We did that itinerary for our honeymoon in May. It was fabulous.  My husband was a little leary, but absolutley loved it.  Let me know if you have any questions.

    We are leaving out of New Orleans on June 18. All the ones I saw left on sat so we are having our wedding on fri.

    pearson35- what excursions did you guys do? I want to swim with the dolphins!
