I'm getting married in 11 days!! So, with that being said, I'm wondering about the headcount. It's due tomorrow. As of right now (four people bailed today) we have 180 adults and 5 children coming. We were given a printout of the setup of the room with the tables (cirlcles numbered). The tables are big enough to seat 8 people, however there are 4 ten person tables we can use too. We were told to just label each table with how many people would be sitting at each one, that way they would know where to put the 10 person tables. Fine. However, I think it would be stupid of me to give the EXACT headcount as everyone knows there are always people who say they're coming and then don't show up for whatever reason. Also, they're making food for 5% over. Luckily, I only have 2 people who haven't given me an answer one way or another. So, I'm thinking if I give a lower count at a couple of tables, say there are six people instead of eight, are they only going to set the table for six? Also, I was wondering if they count plates? I hope this isn't the case because I don't want to pay double if someone wants seconds, nor do I want to be charged for the bar twice!! What do I do with this?
