Reception site in cleveland

I'm a MOH and in charge of getting information on halls in cleveland, ohio. Was hoping someone could help me out with places that are affordable. Some wedding info- est.150ppl, prime rib dinner, 6pm to midnight.
I have been searching, emailing and calling places.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Reception site in cleveland

  • What's the budget per person? East side or west? Based on the guest count Mooreland Mansion and Glidden house is out. I'm not sure if Hilbrook can accomodate that number indoors, but outdoors they can. There's Geneva by the Lake, Springvale Ballroom, etc. lots of choices but we need more info.
  • Prime rib dinner isn't going to be "affordable" by most people's definitions of the word honestly. I'm thinking at most venues it would be $60-$65 per person not even including alcohol.

Anyway, what area of town were you considering? East, West, southern suburbs, etc?

HIllbrook only does plated dinner service and does not have "Prime Rib" as an option (you generally see prime rib in buffet style).

You can, however, get a nice filet mignon for about $50 per person.

They also can fit up to 180 (I believe, it may be more) indoors for a reception, but again, I wouldn't consider them to be a "budget friendly" location.

Prime RIb is not a must. Could have a 2entree buffet stlye dinner. WESTSIDE PLEASE! Do not want to go to the eastside at all nor downtown(because price jumps). Willing to do westside of Cleveland or suburbs such as Strongsville, Parma, etc. Would like indoor reception. Hoping to have a budget of no more than 35ish pp.
