Candy Buffet

I just had my shower and my BMs had a candy buffet and everyone RAVED about it!!  Now my mom wants me to have a candy buffet at my wedding.  I'm not opposed to it, but is it tacky to have it at both?

Also - I know I've seen a bunch of posts about people selling candy buffet leftovers (holders, scoopers, etc).  Is anyone still selling??

    Maybe tacky isn't the right word, but I'm not sure what word I'm looking for...just that I've done it, it was wonderful, but should I be paying for it again?

    You could do something different, like a gourmet popcorn buffet. That's what I did and everyone LOVED it! Put your own twist and spin on it - make it completely yours!

    Everyone raved about ours, so I think it's a great idea and you could definitely have it at both.

    I have a bunch of stuff too if you are still looking.  I need to take an inventory, but I probably have at least 8-10 jars plus scoops.

    RIFallBride - I ordered mine from a company called Just Pop In - I found them online! They're in Indiana, but REALLY responsive to emails, really friendly. And they sent me this huge list of so many wonderful flavors to choose from. I sent them a list of the ones we wanted to taste test for the wedding, and they sent us mini bags at no charge!!! Totally amazing. They have chocolate, peanut butter, beer cheese, spicy cheese, orange, caramel.... My fav was the Indy! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.     How about a dessert bar? I had a candy buffet at my shower too which was also a huge hit. So at the wedding reception we had a dessert bar which also included gourmet candies and sweets too. Everyone loved it! I provided mini take out boxes so there was nothing left at the end of the night.

    I love the idea of a dessert bar or popcorn bar, I may just make a sweet/savory bar filled with tons of different goodies (I'm a salty person myself).  Thanks for all the ideas ladies and for the products!
