**Give Away: Enter here!**

Knot Annie is giving away a Look Book (CLICKY!) to one lucky winner on this board.  To enter, just post in this thread with your favorite detail about your wedding (or an inspiration pic if you haven't started planning yet.)  It doesn't have to be a picture but post one if you can!

For example, my favorite detail is our chapel:

The contest will be good through Thursday (tomorrow) night.  Knot Annie will randomly pick a winner on Friday.

Any questions, let me know!

Favorite detail is our ceremony site.  Here is the description from the venue's website:

Our outside chapel, the grotto was built in the late 1920's from coral formations imported from the Mediterranean Sea. The rocky outcropping is arranged in tiers of formal archways, combining the irregularity of the coral with more pure geometric elements. It is set in a wooded grove alongside a small stream. Here the solitary beauty of nature lends itself as a picturesque setting to any event.

My favorite detail is my escort cards.

They are acrylic, magnetic picture frames. When people walk in they will not be looking for their names but for their pictures. All the married couples that are invited will be looking for their wedding photo and the single people will be looking for a fun picture of them with either thier dog, cat, friend, family, ...etc. This will be the first time the two families will meet so it sould be a conversational starter.

Plus, they can take the pictures which are in the fames home and stick them on their refirgerator.

My Favorite is my chapel. It is made from a 100 plus year old barn. It has a rustic feel and has real Tiffany's stained glass at the alter! Love it!! It really combines both of our styles, Country and Classy!

My favorite is my veil, my grandmother is making it for me so I don't have a picture or any clue of what it will really look like.  She made all the dresses for my mother and her sister's weddings and I wanted her to make something for mine.

I know it will be cathedral length with some trim on the edges and hopefully some embelishments.  Here's an inspirational pic I found

It's an inspiration book sold by TK.  If you look at my original post, there's a CLICKY! that has a link to the item in the shop with a more detailed description.

Ahhh! @July032011! I'm getting married that date on the Infinity yacht! I was hoping to take pictures in that park beforehand. Mind if I ask the time you will be there? I don't want to interrupt you!

But my favorite detail of my wedding is my venue, the Infinity yacht!

This bouquet is purely my inspiration. I saw these orchids - mixed with my favorited flowers, white roses - and knew I had to have them.

Our colors are cerulean blue, purple and white :) I think this bouquet is just gorgeous and incorporates them all beautifully!

I can't wait to marry my best friend and love of my life! <3

My favorite detail is my engagement ring as well.  FI originally proposed with a solitaire and then we designed it by adding sapphires on each side. Both of our grandmother's birthstones are sapphires and with our colors being Navy blue and Silver they're the perfect fit.

My other favorite detail is our new Venue that we found after our original one closed down:

The Hellenic Cultural Center in Westland

My favorite detail is my dress! I want to wear it all the time.  I told my FI not to be surprised to come home after the wedding one day and see me sitting around in it!

My favorite detail so far are the macarons that we are getting from a pastry shop in Ann Arbor that we both LOVE!  We'll be using them on the sweet table served with shot glasses of milk and also likely be using them for favors.

blondelljk  -great minds think a like...that's the same flower we're using for our wedding.  We want plum as our main color and the blue turqoise as an accent. I too am super excited for the bouquet as well, I think it will turn out awesome.  I did find out though that the flowers are stem dyed to look like that so it's going to cost a little more but it'll be worth it for sure.

My favorite detail is our date 03-17-2012.  It's St. Patricks Day.  We are both very proud of our Cletic heritage.  I am scottish and the FI is scottish and irish.  What a better day to get married then on St. Patricks Day with a Celtic themed wedding.

My favorite detail is my dress.  When we first got engaged, I started drawing out what kind of dress I wanted to wear.  I knew I wanted crystal beading at the top, a pick up skirt, and a back that laces up.  My dress has everything I wanted and more.  Closer to the wedding date, I have to get it altered to get the lace-up back.  I can't wait.

    rak123 - Thanks!! I LOVE them :)

bee&bee  - FH's aunt is a florist and told me they would have to be dyed, but she would do them at cost for us. :) I told her  I would cut costs somewhere else but I have to have these. I figured it would be well worth it because we are having an early ceremony and a later reception - orchids hold up really well without water, so it will be perfect.
