Catholic Churches near Mashpee & Mass times

Hi everyone,

I'm considering my reception at Willowbend and I'm trying to map out hotels, church, etc.  If there are any former Willowbend brides out there who had a Catholic mass, where did you have it, what time, when did you start your reception??

Thank you!!

3 to choose.... Christ the King in Mashpee 10, 2 and 5  ceremony times on saturdays and also can do friday or sunday but not sure times...
Also Saint anthonys in East Falmouth same times...
    and corpus Cristy in Sandwich...
They are all really nice ... Christ the King is closest.. the only drawback it that the 5pm ceremony will be on the heels of a 4 pm saturday Mass that is almost always standing room only and the parking in and outs can get hairy....
the upside of that place is that it is right next to Mashpee commons , so if you need to have a bit of a gap before the reception your guests can mull around the area a bit...

You will so love Willowbend... been to 3 weddings there..PERFECT! wish I could have afforded it... do it ir you can swing it for sure!

hope this helps  hapy new year!

I will be getting married on July 30th at Christ the King in Mashpee. They normally allow a 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, or 5:30pm ceremony for a Saturday wedding. They have some restrictions with times based on other area events that are going on that day. That is just to make it easier for you and your guests. For example, there is a big event in Mashpee on July 30th at night, so we were not able to have a 5:30pm reception. If you call them, ask for Mary Becker, she has been more than helpful with us! I also found, that many of the churches in the area have websites that give you much of the information you need for setting up a wedding! Good luck with your planning!

I'm getting married at Saint Patricks in Falmouth. It's located on Main St. right in the middle of Falmouth center They are really nice and helpful. At first we were going to do a 2pm ceremony but with our reception starting at 6 we didn't like the idea of a break. I think we will be doing a 5:30 pm mass and just extending our reception an hour.  They also have a chapel that is right on Falmouth Harbor which is nice to take pictures etc. It will fit 120 but It's not as pretty as the on one Main St.

We got married at St. Patrick's in Falmouth-- same time options as Lisa said. We went with the 2 since our wedding was in Oct and it would be dark by the time we would be done with the 5:30. They weren't always the easiest to get in touch with, but the were very flexible with lots of details (except the time).

I had also contacted St. Anthony's and Christ the King, and one of them, can't remember which, wouldn't take non-parishoners with no specific tie to the parish (like family members who belonged or something).

We are getting married at St. Patrick's in Falmouth.  We're doing a 2pm ceremony and our reception starts at 5.  They seemed very nice and they take non-parishoners and their donation is $300.

Our Lady of the Assumption in Osterville.  Absolutely gorgeous!

1:30 was the latest they would schedule

We rented all the villas at WB for family and used two for a pre reception spot for  1 1/2 hours until the cocktail hour started.
