Beach House Wedding?

  We are planning a small wedding of around 50 guests. We want to get married on the beach then have a reception at a beach house. Any ideas on beach houses in St. Augustine that can accomodate us?

    I am getting married in Destin in April, and we are having a beach ceremony with a reception at the house we are renting.

    We ended up going through a local real estate company, but found a lot of places that I liked on VRBO.com, and homeaway.com (which I think is part of VRBO, not sure). You can also find a lot just by googling!

    The problem I ran into was that everyone required a weekly rental, which we did not want to do. It also depends on the time you are planning it, because some places are more lenient during the off months. But if you are planning on renting for a full week I'm sure you can find a lot!

    Also, be prepared to pay some type of event fee. Some of the ones I found charged up to $1,000. Anytime they hear wedding they throw in some kind of extra fee.

    Yes it is easier said then done! Most hear wedding and think their place will be trashed and septics over run we are still looking, but have a few leads!
