Is it possible to just hire someone to video the wedding and reception without all of the extra crap?.. I am not looking for interviews with family, childhood photographs or movie like quality editing--just a simple video of our wedding.... I'd like to keep this under 500$.  Any suggestions ladies?.. These 1700$ quotes are seriously ridiculous... Thanks!

    Try prodigy media group. I got them in ur price range but I've heard that they have gone up. Worth a shot to ask what u can get in ur price range. Maybe they will work with u. Also, this may sound silly, but check craigslist. Sometimes aspiring photographers/ videographers are on there that are really good. Hope this helps. Happy planning!

    I found a guy named cory ruiz on craigslist and for 700 dollars his price was by far a great deal for what you got.

    tim mcaskill was recommended to me by another videographer i contacted that was booked, we decided to go with him, his prices are on his website but i let him know our budget and he decreased his price and threw in some extras, i believe he has a 500 or 600 dollar package and although its not "bridefilm" quality its exactly what we need and want.. good luck!
