How many slow songs would be ideal?

My dance portion is only about an hour. How many slow songs do you think I should slot in there, besides first dance and parents' dance?

Oh, I don't know numbers-wise.... because not every song is the same length, ya know?
Also, not every party is the same. Are you having a dj? Or a band? Or are you Ipoding it? Usually this is the sort of thing you can let the person doing the music figure out. If people seem interested in the slow songs, they'll keep it going. If they notice people dropping back to their seats, they'll switch it up to faster pace songs. That's just my suggestion, though. :)

You would want about 30 minutes of slow songs and 30 minutes of fast.  Most songs are 3 to 4 minutes so that is 8-10 slow songs and 8-10 fast songs.
