  Hi Ladies - I need some help. My fiance and I are getting married April 2014 and I desperately want to get married in a small chapel in the Houston area. (Even willing to go as far South as Galveston area or North to Huntsville). We are only going to have about 50 guests at the actual wedding and we are on a small budget. Would love a place I could have the small chapel AND a reception area.. Inside or Out is great! 
  
   Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  I got married at St. John's Church in Heritage Park.

  It holds 65 people total and I LOVED it. You can't have your reception in the church but maybe in one of the other buildings? I'm not sure, as I had mine off site. It might be an option though!

  Check out Live Oak Friends Meeting Place... It is incredibly beautiful and too small for my own service! You can host a small reception afterwards there.

Located on West Road, fairly close to you. They also have a fellowship hall you can use for reception.Also, we have discovered if you get married on a Tues - Thurs most venues will really cut their prices!
