unity ideas

I am looking for a an out of the ordinary unity ideas! I feel like the unity candle has been over done, the sand is good for abeach wedding but not really my venue, and my sister who just got married did the rose thing. I have heard of handfasting but unsure how I feel about it. Any thoughts on this or any new suggestions for unity cermonies?

    I went to a wedding a couple of years ago where they did unity wine, poured a glass from each family, then into one cup that they both drank from.  Only problem is you don't have as much to show for it.

    Other than that I'm stumpped I think you covered all the good ones.  I'd say just look around on here or ask your JP I had one that sent us a booklet with vows and unity candle/sand ideas so they might have some ideas of unique things they've seen.  GL!
