NWR - The Most Interesting Person on Earth...

Sharks swim frantically away in her presence. All babies truly love her. She tells her boss what to do. When clowns see her, they throw pies in their own faces. She is the most interesting woman on Earth.  I don't always pay attention, but when I do I still look puzzled. Stay distracted my friends.

Ok, that's a bit silly...not sure if everyone is familiar with the Dos Equis commercials, but that was what I was trying to go for, lol...

So, just for a little NWR convo, who is the most interesting person you have ever met and why?

    LOL!!! I have a friend who thinks they are the most interesting person anyone has ever met....

    Honestly, my great grandmother who passed away in '91. Granted I was only a child but she was born in 1901 and kept a memoir of all the things she'd gone through. I thought it was fascinating that she lived through the invention of television and computers, the modern automobile, World War I and II, and she had a great perspective because she told us all of this through the eyes of someone who grew up in the Caribbean. She was married at 13, bore 8 children and when she was in her 30's her husband was killed in an automobile accident and she never married again. (Clearly I'm a sucker for a good love story).

    Wow!!  Your great grandmother sounds like she was one amazing woman!  That is awesome.

    Over the years I have met so many different people.  Some interesting, and some not so much, Lol!  Recently, I did not meet, but actually spoke with an older (in her 80's) woman over the phone via my job.  I work in social services and she was calling in looking for information/services to assist her sister.  I helped her with a few different things and gave her information...she was so grateful and she ended up talking about so many challenges she had faced in her lifetime.  She is an extremely spiritual woman.  It turns out that she has a famous grandson and she, herself, had written a book.  She ended up sending me a copy of her book.  I read it and OMG!  This woman had escaped death like 6 different times. Because of her strong faith and beliefs she had lived!  Unbelievable and definitely <em>interesting</em>!
