Sun Palace Cancun

Anyone ever stayed at the all inclusive sun palace in Cancun? We have reservations there for April but I had a couple questions like how did you get there from the airport and such? Looking for reviews.

We just got back.

We had our travel agent set us up with a shuttle and taxis. If you don't have a travel agent I would suggest calling the hotel and asking if they have any shuttle recommendations. Trip Advosor and the Palace website may also have some answers for you.

We went there in February. It was awesome. I wrote a review on trip advisor, and there are quite a few, so I'd read what is there. As for transport from the airport, we set up a transfer through Expedia. It was a shuttle with other couples that goes to the various Palace resorts.

We didn't go to the Sun Palace but we traveled to the Cancun Airport. We used Cancun Transfers ( http://www.cancuntransfers.com/express/ ) to book a private SUV to drive us to our resort. When we arrived, they confirmed our pick up time for the return trip and showed up on time.

We have been to Sun Palace several times and always love going there. We book directly with Palace because we are Palace members and use their transfer shuttle. Last time we were in Cancun we stayed at Beach Palace which is Sun's sister resort. We used Palace shuttle from the airport and then used their limo for return trip to airport.

If you have a chance, check out the sunsets from Beach Palace's skydeck bar, beautiful!

I love USA Transfers really reasonable prices and private vs shared transfers. Just used them a few days ago and it was seamless. Have them booked again for our Dec. trip.

Regarding Moon Palace..... we hated it. It was so full of kids and it's VERY family friendly and not exactly what you want on a homeymoon. But we were only there for a day, and the spa there is AMAZING.
Just know going in that Moon Palace is kind of like a hurricane.
If you can, take the ferry over to Isla Mujeres Palace. It really was so great, and so quiet and low-key.
