  OMG!  Dress Me Fancy looks amazing!  I just booked an appointment!  And they were so nice and helpful on the phone!

  
  Thank you so much!  They make their dresses in a range of fabrics, so I'm hoping I can swing the dress of my dreams there!  (Fingers crossed).

  I was going to go the route of etsy as well - but decided to work with someone on making it - so that it could be handcrafted but I could be part of the process.
  
  I went with Kelima K - www.kelima.com. She is right in the City, on Mott St.
  
  Another good idea if you have the budget for it is www.ghosttailor.com.
  
  Otherwise, live it up. Women order ebay dresses all the time, and it works out well. Etsy is too wonderful to be too nervous about. :-)

  It seem that 50 is the way to go...Klienfield is carry Stephaine James Countre dress...which are beatuiful....also try www.dollycouture.com..
