I get what you're saying zilla. If they said it to me I'd laugh. Seeing it in print and sent out as an invite makes is odd.

I think that their families probably accept that they're gay, and would find this funny. I would love to get an invitation like this. The wedding would be a blast.

I would go, but I can see where it would offend someone. I guess if the couple wanted them there the invitee would get the humor in it.

I didn't get it that they were gay just by reading their names. However, I assume if I knew this person well enough to get an invite, I'd get the joke.
