need help coordinating linen colors

My wedding colors are pink, silver/grey, and sage. My wedding dress is white and my bm dresses are rose petal, and my fiance wants the guys to wear grey tuxes.

I know I posted about this before, but I am having a really hard time trying to coordinate my linens. My florist and I originally chose ice pink table linens, with silver chivari chairs with silver chair pads and a pink sash, and bringing in green and pink with the flowers. Well, we went to our mock set up and the pink looked really over the top, so the florist and my fiance chose a sage/olive table linen with silver chivari chairs and a light pink napkin and we are still undecided on the sash. I am not in love with it but can't come up with any other options. I feel so confused!

  • Im pretty sure we're just doing white dupioni linens. We have a similar color palette to yours except we're having mahogany chivaris. We're also bring color in with the flowers with blushes and peaches and greenery.
  • I think I would do a pink sash to match your napkins if you go with the set up you are thinking.

Why don't you go with a pink tablecloth with silver napkins and sashes and include your sage in the flowers with some pink and mostly white? That way the pink is toned down a bit, but you still get it. I'm pretty sure you won't be happy if you only have pink napkins and flowers. Judging from what your original idea was.(You could also add sage in the napkins and other stuff you are putting on the tables. Napkin rings, programs, menus, etc. if you are doing that stuff.)

  • I don't think any of these look like baby showers. :P They would look great with lots of greenery and flowers that aren't overly pink.

  • I ended up doing white table cloths as I felt the colored ones looked a but over the top with the colors.
  • Did you try asking if you could alternate the colors for the tables? That is what I am doing. I originally wanted all the tables to be black with white chairs, but the black made it look too dark. So now we are alternating the colors of the tables, some black some white. The head table will have both.

  • Thanks ladies!

Cailsel, I think my venue is too small to alternate the colors. I think alternating black and white makes more sense than alternating pink and green or pink and silver. I think it would be too much.

I think I am just going to have to make another appointment to go to the linen place with my florist. :/
