Pint Glasses - any ideas?

Hi my fiance is Australian and as much as I would like to have something prettier, I know he will love having personalized pint glasses as favors.  I found them on favor favor dot com for under $2.00 each.

Has anyone used that vendor or do you have another suggestion.

    Do not do personalized.  No one wants a glass with your name/date on it to clutter their cupboards.

    I agree with pp. Only do personalized if it's something edible. If it is something to keep noone will actually use them.

    The above posters are right. Unless you want to do the GUEST'S monogram on the glasses, it's not worth personalizing them. You can just buy them plain, and put something in them, or wrap a ribbon on them.

    I agree with PP about not personalizing, but if you wanted to do this, I would suggest personalizing without putting your names, wedding date, monogram on them. Could you come up with an image that represents you too? Maybe something having to do with Australia (Kangaroo, flag, map of country, etc) and something that has something to do with you (st Louis Arch, US Flag, map of country, etc.) I think something that doesn't blatantly scream your wedding might go off better.

    Another way to personalize them for the day is to use a personalized ribbon or tag tied to them.  I just found some glasses from a wedding, and the couple is not longer together. - it's like getting glasses from prom.  What do you really do with them?
