Downtown Wedding Photos

Downtown Chicago Brides - where are you taking your wedding photos?   Been researching for locations.  I want Chicago skyline/buildings as well as urban pics.   Been thinking of Adler but closer to the beach or Olive Park, River Walk, Kinzie Bridge/railroad area, Modern Wing, or Franklin Bridge.     Tried to find cool doors on warehouses or murals but ones I finding are all too far north.  Prefer to be around downtown with wedding at Cathedral and Reception at Mart Plaza.   Our photographer does amazing work so I know anywhere would be fine, even as simple as a parkiing lot.    We did our e-session at O'Hare so was hoping to find somewhere unique and different for wedding too.

We took pictures on Michigan Ave (just north of Wacker) and also a park that we found randomly near the reception site (Embassy Suites Lakefront).  We wanted to stay near and around our reception site because we wanted to make it to part of our cocktail hour (which we did and it was awesome!) Pics in married bio.

We took e-pics at Olive Park.  It's a pretty spot!  How big is your WP?

I also walked by Union Station the other day and thought what a great spot it'd be for pics.  On Canal at Adams on the south side of Canal, there are the big archs and pillars for Union Station that are gorgeous!  I'd imagine for inside shots you'd need permits maybe but right outside could work well.

I'm doing the cancer survivors garden - at the northern park of Millenium park off Randolph. There are some cool columns there. That might be it for us...

If you want the cool skyline pics - the planetarium is the best spot IMO
