Mandalay Bay VOTF vs Caesars Palace Juno/Venus Garden

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I feel like I'm all over the place right now.  I can't decide (NOW - Totally was MB at 1am this morning) between the venues.  I like them both alot (Caesars in right in the middle of the strip, a plus, for sure).  We're thinking Nov 2011, both are outside. VOTF is said to be slightly windy, haven't heard anything negative yet about Caesars Juno or Venus. If weather is bad both allow to move inside, not an issue there.

Probably going to have between 40-60 guests.

Also want to do an insuite reception.  I know MB Brides past, present and future have done them there but not sure about and if they are possible at Caesars.  Has anyone seen the size of the suites, are they comparable in size, views, etc....

Will really only add what I find is necessary to the package too, in the end.

Any help, thoughts would be great!!!

Thanks Ladies,Embarassed

I did the MB Chapel Wedding w/ In-Suite Reception and I was very happy with everything! I did like Caesars as an option too thou so I understand the dilemma! But I had not seen any In-Suite's at Caesars...

I'm a VOTF/Vista Suite bride. Loved every bit of it (and there was no wind on our wedding day). All the guests were in awe of the VOTF and the view from the Vista Suite. Let me know if you have any questions. Email is listed on my married bio.

I went back in forth between MB and Caesars and in the end I loved the renovated Juno garden and PRICE for our package you cant go wrong but if your on a budget you gotta look at what you get in the packages! Also i like that the juno garden there are steps so you can be elevated to your guest and that there are benches and ot chairs so people can be spread out! Good Luck

    i'm a Juno Garden bride.

i will say - at least for Caesars - i went with Juno over Venus because the Juno Garden is 100% private.  with the Venus, random people passing by, or going to the pool, can stop and watch your wedding.  although the pool might not be an issue in November, not sure when Vegas shuts stuff down.

so...since i'm biased...i think you should go for the Juno Garden.

and i think i read somewhere (here?) that you can do in-suite things at Caesars, but you have to use their catering services - nothing from outside can be brought in.  could be totally wrong about that though.  you should contact Jamie with Harrah's Properties for more info.

I I looked into an in suite reception at Caesars and they have an Absolute suite with a dancefloor.  I think it would work for closer to 40 people.  With 60 you would have to find something else.  If I remember correctly they really didn't have a lot of cool options besides that one.  Well and the Rainman suite which is really expensive.  The Absolute suite looks really cool.  I think it was about 3500$ a nite and that was for a monday plus you have to use their catering.  I think you can utube it or find it on Caesars website.  Mandalay has a hospitality suite that I think would fit your group. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. I really liked the 11/11/11 date, but all the extra premiums (photographer, wedding package) may not be worth it to me.  I like the gardens and the idea of private versus not so private is good to know. I attended a wedding in March in Jamaica and there were a ton of extra guests (people walking by), not sure how I feel about that.  I also talked to WC at Caesars today, she mentioned the weather wouldn't be as warm as I would like for an outdoor wedding. 65 degrees during the day isn't ideal for me, so probably moving to Sept 2011.  Thinking of insuite at PH - Hopefully I can get a good deal on the Panorama suite, since its not too far from Caesars.  Fiance likes the middle of the strip idea for going out afterwards.

Thanks for all the help ladies, I would be SUPER lost without you.  Smile

Hi! I'm a soon-to-be Caesars Juno Bride, and I'm so happy to hear how private the location is!

We also booked the Palace Tower Senators Suite at Caesars for a very very simple In-Suite reception....and I mean very simple! Some food, and piece of cake, we'll say thank you to everyone and then off to the pool!

I asked Scott at Masterpiece Cuisine if they've ever had any problems delivering to the suite and he said they haven't. Also my WC never said we couldn't have outside vendors all she said when I asked was "I cannot comment or discuss anyone other than Caesars...", so I think its more of a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"... or I HOPE!

Good luck!! I'm getting married Sept. 2010, so I will let you know if I have any issues!
