Thoughts on Le Chambord

My Fiance and I have a meeting at Le Chambord in two weeks. I did some research and half of the reviews are incredible and half of the reviews are awful.

Anyone have experience with Le Chambord?

The place was just recently renovated so you might want to check them out!

We looked there a few months ago and it was pretty old fashioned. The guy kept telling us what people did and didn't do any more, and naturally everything he said no one does, was what we wanted to do. I think it's a place that could be nice for a wedding. It just wasn't a good fit for us.

I too am thinking about booking this week at le chambord and i am nervous,,,there are exactly almost 50% good reviews/50% bad reviews and i really like it and have a good feel about it but i am scared that the bad reviews may be true..has anyone had or been to a wedding there?

When we were looking, to be honest, it had a lot of bad reviews. They did recently renovate (I'm not sure if it's the same or new owners) so the good reviews are I'm going to assume more of the recent ones. If I were you I'd contact the salesperson you are dealing with and ask if he can provide you with names of persons who recently held events there (say events, not just weddings) and contact them to ask questions about how their night went.

If you have a good gut feeling about the place, thats important. Equally important are people who can vouch they did a good job.

    Good luck!
