Rehearsal Dinner - gift for the hosts?

I'm going to my friend's rehearsal dinner in a couple weeks and I am wondering if I should get something for her future in-laws as a small thank you for hosting... if I were to get something, what would it be? I'm just a bridesmaid, but I was thinking that it might be nice to get them a little something.

I don't think you have to get them anything, I nice heartfelt thank you will probably go a long way.

The RD is actually a thank you to those of you,who are participating in the ceremony and rehearsal. So there is no need to bring a hostess gift. A thank you at the end of the evening would be nice, just as you would thank the hosts of the wedding reception.
