Hi everyone!

I've been a member here for awhile mostly just lurking around.  I just got engaged last weekend. :)  So needless to say, I'll be around much more often now. lol

I was wondering if there is a consolidated place or thread in the Central Florida boards for vendor reviews?  I couldn't easily find one.

Also, I remember about a month or so ago, I came across a page that had a list of all the Central FL Knotties with their wedding date, location and vendors (at least photographer) listed.  Anyone have any idea where I may find this list again? 

Just trying to get some ideas on which vendors to use, and which to avoid.

    I asked about this before. The knot prohibits it.  I have vendor reviews in my link below and the CFL knotties reviews I think is in one of the sticky posts at the top of this board

    If you post asking about bakers, or photographer or even boutiques/salons most girls will respond with their favorites and who to avoid.

    Congrats on your engagement!  There are lots of reviews on www.weddingwire.com. Really do your research!  Here is who I am using:

    Venue: Lake Mary Events Center - We live in Heathrow, so it is close to home and the venue has a good layout.  You can have a beautiful inside or outside wedding.  Also, you can chose from 8 caterers.  Some places I looked at only let you chose between 1 and 3 caterers.  Find your venue! Places in Orlando book quickly!

    Photographer: KWU Photography - They are extremely creative and responsive. I've already done my engagement photos with them and they really are a pleasure to work with.  They also custom designed save-the-date magnets that were amazing! The price is reasonable as well for the quality.
     
    DJ: Al Dee Productions - He did my matron of honors wedding. He is not a cheesy DJ. He is super cool, yet professional and got EVERYONE dancing. I have never been to a wedding where everyone danced.  He made the party!

    Cake: Michael Anthony Cakes - I just wrote a great review on here yesterday on my experience with him. Beautiful and yummy!

    Dress / Invitations: Alfred Angelo - They always have sales on dresses, so keep checking them out. If you get your dress there the invitations are 40% off.

    Flowers: Country Club Flowers - They are literaly 0.3 miles from my wedidng venue. They are very creative and were able to design a chuppah (wedding canopy) for my Jewish wedding.  They are very responsive and reasonable.

    Hair / Makeup: Jasmine at Sheer Bliss - She specializes in wedding hair and has already gone above and beyond to help me pick my wedding hair.

    I am still working on selecting a caterer.  I was going to go with Puff N' Stuff, but they have been non-responsive lately.  As a former event planner, I just don't deal with that.  Plus, I am hesitant to use them after they catered a two-day event that I hosted and served cookies from the day before.  They wre quick to respond when I made a comment about how they weren't calling me back on their Facebook page.  My other choices are Big City and Arthur's, but they are too expensive.  The other caterers I can chose from are Classic Creations, Cusiniers Catering, Levan's and River City. 

    I got Swaravski crystal Nadari accessories at Nordstrom, which included my bridesmaid neclaces that I am giving to them as gifts.  

    I still am working on my veil, shoes, favors and all those little details.  I got a "Florida Gator" garter and cuff links, since my fiance is a huge fan.
