Wanted: Ideas

Hey Ladies!  I hope you're having a great Tuesday!  I have a quick question for all of you...
I inherited some centerpieces from my cousin's wedding.  I want to decorate them, but I don't want to use flowers like on the box.  Ideas or sites that might have ideas would be helpful.
TIA

  • Those are REALLY pretty!

The stem of it - Is it open or just solid?

You are opposed to any flowers in it at all?

How about filling it with glass rocks (or the gelly expanding thing - technical term, I swear lol) and then water and floating candle? Then put a couple smaller candles around the base on the table?

It's open.  They're designed for a tapered candle. Like on the box (clicky). The picture looks exactly like my cousin's centerpieces which is what I'm trying to avoid.

  • Well, you could do sand/shells if you are beachy, moss or even fruit can be a good idea too depending how big it is, you could slice up limes or lemons to put in the sides of the globe and throw a hydrangea stem in the middle for fullness.  These might be bad ideas Im just throwing stuff out there lol.

  • Have you thought of using a lamp shade?  You could use submerged pink flowers and accent the lamp shade with silver.  (I think those were your colors, but if not you could change them to what you want.)  They would be unique and people would probably not recognize them.
