covering shoulders?

I  was wondering if anyone has a great website to buy a jacket or something to cover  your shoulders for the ceremony.

or what are you using to cover up if your church requires you to?

Thanks for your help!

Our church didn't require the bride to have covered shoulders. I would imagine the place you got your dress should have some boleros and wraps. Or you could try David's Bridal if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

my dress was not strapless so i didnt need a cover up.  however, my sister selected a strapless gown for her bridesmaid dress, and she was able to order a bolero from david's bridal in the same color for i want to say $50?  honestly, her dress looked so much  better wtih the jacket - it really completed the outfit and looked a lot less prom-ish.

I looked on etsy.com yesterday, and they had some cute boleros for around ~$50. I don't know the sellers though.

Check Ebay too. The ones I looked at at DB were about $100.

My church is not requiring me to cover my shoulders.  I was looking at getting something just because it's a late November wedding in Ohio

Argh, I was forced to think about this over the weekend too. We're about 2 months away and our priest just told me (on our 6th meeting with him!) that I have to have covered shoulders! So I frantically called my seamstress to ask if she could add some removable cap sleeves to my dress. Luckily she can. Just a thought if you don't want to do the bolero thing.

I had my seamstress make me removable cap sleeves and a modesty panel.

I am allowed to wear my dress, but before I found out from my priest, I found lots of cute tops on ebay.

really, even if your priest doesnt require the shoulders be covered, i think its nice to do out of respect.

I found out that my shoulders have to be covered and I freaked out becuase I had already bought my dress. So I called up the seamstress and asked her if it was possible for her to add some removable cap sleeves. She said yes, that she would just order some extra fabric and make them when my dress came in. My sister (MOH) and cousin (only bridesmaid) will have to wear a shawl with thier dress. Bummer.
