My spa day was great, thanks to my mom, sister, dad and step mom who bought me gift cards for my birthday! I had a pedicure first and I picked a pretty blue color with glitter on top. I got the glitter before and it lasted months on my toes. Its more of a turquoise color.
Next I had, what they call, a two week manicure. I usually get Shellac but this salon doesn't use the CND brand so the color I wanted wasn't there and no colors matched my toes : ( I did get a blue color and then the manicurist used a clear sparkle color over the blue to try to match it up better. They are not the same but my toes and fingers won't be together for people to really notice the difference, and I don't really care cause I'm getting married in Hawaii !!
Next I got my eyebrows waxed by someone who just got back from Oahu and Maui on Wednedsday, It was nice to chat with her.
Last I got a 30 min. upper body deep tissue massage. WOW, that was awesome! I need to get this done more often. It really felt great. I have terrible neck and back pain from work and this was a perfect stress reliever!! I wish I left her more of a tip but I wasn't thinking when I was leaving.
I called my dad to thank him and decided to see if he can meet us for dinner tonight, then I can tell him about our wedding!
