Bands for the Wedding

I am sure this has been asked before, so I apologize in advance, but I am having trouble searching right now.

My brother is getting married next summer, and is in search of a fanastic band for the wedding.  When I got married last year, the knot boards were such a help in the planning, so I am returning to try to help my little bro out.

What are some recommended bands in the area?  We don't have a solid budget for bands, so I am definitely looking for different pricepoints, but the music is one of the most important things for them, so there is no upper limit at this point.

Any input would be very much appreciated!

Also, my friends used After Midnight a few years ago, but the contact info they had no longer seems to be working.  Has anyone heard of After Midnight, and if so, any idea how to contact them?

Thanks in advance!!!

We loved, loved, loved the band from our wedding - Soul Revival!  They were amazing!!!  I highly recommend them!  I don't know if your brother (or you) is in the city (or close by) but they are having a showcase in Midtown this coming Wednesday.  Website:    www.soulrevivalband.com

We used Hank Lane's Michael Hart Band and they were AMAZING. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and they were super nice and easy to work with. They're pricy, but well worth it IMO.

We had a number of people tell us about this Philly based band and said it was the best they had ever seen. We went to a showcase in South Jersey and signed on the spot. They had no problems at all getting to our wedding downtown NYC. They are called The Heartbeats, First Class Entertainment. 10 Piece band. Everyone keeps raving about it and saying it was teh best band they ever heard. Many people took their card so they can give to friends for their weddings. The dance floor was packed.  I can give you more info on quoted prices that I got if you want to contact me directly. For the ceremony and cocktail hour i used a separate Jazz Quartet since it didnt make sense for theirs to travel up for an hour. I cant say enough about them.
