So I had a fantastically quasi-productive day at home today and am totally relaxed on the couch, watching Hogan play with his frisbee. It was the first toy we ever bought him; he's been chewing on that thing for over a year now! Anyway, we had our first few inches (6) of snow on Friday and it snowed most of today but didn't stick. BF started me a fire before leaving for work this morning and I've been keeping it going all day. I cleaned the kitchen and packed up road food for BF, his sister, and our other friend. They're driving up to Reno for work and will be there for the next few days. I'll be home with Hogan until going back to work Wednesday morning. My goals over the next two days are to make our November wreath, edit some photos (I'm so far behind!!), and finish cleaning the house. Oh - and to relax some more too!
What are you all up to today? How was your weekend? Is it winter-weather anyplace else too?
Re: Completel randomness while sittin' on the couch
Yesterday, I slept all day since I worked Friday night. We were going to go out to dinner, but ended up being lazy and laying on the couch all night instead. Today, we went to a sports bar and watched football with a couple of BFs' friends. Pretty chill weekend, over all.
No winter weather here yet, but I can't wait for snow!
We went to a lung walk yesterday. My family and Tyler got to meet one of my favorite patients and she and her husband were telling them how wonderful I am, which made me feel super good. I got home and watched the rest of Torchwood: Miracle Day and got mad confused when I figured that I'd finish Torchwood around 2:30 and it was suddenly 1:30. Thank you, Daylight Savings Time, for making the clock on our microwave correct once more.
Today we did nothing except going to the grocery store.
Tomorrow, however, is our make up anniversary day. Our anniversary was on 10/18, but we haven't had a proper day off. We're going to get a couples massage, open our first joint bank account then sneak dinner from Pei Wei into the theater like we did on one of our earliest dates. It's going to be wonderful
ETA: I also painted my nails today. I'm trying to quit biting my nails.
Hogan has now moved onto the couch with me. Every couple minutes he tries to "help" me type on the computer. Such a helpful pup!

lol we have a fireplace but are too afraid to do anything with it and no one who has recommended chimney sweeps has gotten back to me with contact info! And since my coworker just had her baby yesterday, we're gonna be picking up extra shifts, so time has become even slimmer for me to meet someone at the house to sweep said chimney. Another reason this is terrifying? Our fireplace is not a fireplace... it's a wood burning stove inserted into a fireplace. Gonna burn this sh*t down.
[QUOTE]I miss having a fireplace. It's unseasonably warm here... about 62 today and 58 right now. It feels like spring. We did a bunch of Christmas shopping and then had dinner before going to see "Puss in Boots".

*sigh* I haven't even started think about it yet. I really need to get on it. I should add that to my list of things to work on while I'm home the next two days!
My weekend has been good and crappy. Friday was good, picked a venue
Saturday was fine, just laid around the house and did homework and went to church. Today has been crappy, I feel even worse than ever
But you know all this! Oh and right now I am listening to LOTR ROTK sound track to make me feel better
It's working!
EDIT: Oh yes and we got snow last night. Just a little bit and it didn't even stick to the roads (fine with me). I like when we just get a little. Fi and I danced in the snow last night
Can you tell we like to dance?

Well, I normally don't start until early December, but we have to do it early this year. We're going to Albuquerque to spend Christmas with his family, so my mom wants to open gifts after we eat Thanksgiving dinner.
