beer & wine?

The place i'm interested in having my wedding reception only allows beer & wine to be served.  No Liquor.
Is it stupid for me to worry that my guests will find it tacky/cheap if there is no liquor being served?

Have any of you run into this?

We didn't offer liquor at our wedding - just beer and wine. As long as it's free, your guests will survive.

That's what we are doing as well, and if people are too picky to get drunk on beer and wine they can provide their own booze!

We are doing beer and wine, and two signature drinks; one girly, and one manly (like a xoxo, and a jack and coke).

We are also only serving beer and wine and champagne. My guests will manage to get smashed with those on hand. No need for hard liquor.

My dad always tells me, "if it's free they'll drink it!!" Don't sweat it. :)
