Exciting news!

I just found out my little sister got engaged last night so we'll be planning our weddings at the same time :) Mine is in may 2011 and her's won't be until the end of 2011 or the beginning of 2012 but I am still so thrilled we'll both be brides around the same time :)

cool!  my sister is so much older than me (8 years) and she got married much younger than i did, so we didnt get to share this nor will we get to share the baby experience together.  enjoy it!  you are lucky.

Congratulations!!! That's so exciting. My sisters are 7 and 9 yrs older, so they are having babies while I'm getting married. I think they are loving helping me plan though. Good distraction haha

Congrats! Sharing the wedding planning is a blast. My (little) sister got married last weekend. It is so much fun to get to share the wedding experience, have someone who is excited to bounce ideas around (and to get all her wedding hand-me-downs)!!

I'm doing that right now, too!  Except my younger sister got engaged after me and decided to get married before me...  I was a touch annoyed at first because she and her fi never asked if we minded (we weren't going to say no!)... but it's been fun and I've had the benefit of not having to hound half the people on our guest list for addresses since I could just steal them from her!  It's a bit challenging as her only in-town bridesmaid without kids since I've needed to orchestrate both the shower and bachelorette party... but after the new year I can refocus on my own impending nuptials again!  Have fun!

My sister and I were married 11 months apart. It was a crazy couple of years but we had a lot of fun helping each other out. And we miss some of the planning now Smile

Congratulations!  That's very exciting for your parents, too!  My sisters are still in grade school so I'm sure I'll be long married and have popped out babies by the time they're married.
