What should he wear?

So recently ended up modeling this dress - http://www.pendragoncostumes.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=steampunk&Product_Code=rose&Category_Code=wedding
- at a fashion show and love it. I'm thinking about wearing it for my wedding...but not sure what my groom would wear. Any ideas?

    That's a very cool dress.  I can easily see your groom in a brown suit, but only if that's something he'd like.  Here's what I'd do ... I'd take a photo of that dress to the nearest Nordstrom and go to the men's department, ask for the top sales person and ask him/her what they'd suggest.  You'll likely walk away with a handful of ideas that you can pass along to your fiance.

    Awesome dress! I think he could wear a suit in any of the skirt colors brown, navy, olive. I have a friend who's everyday dress aesthetic is in that direction and he gets a lot of his clothing from here:  http://www.gentlemansemporium.com If that's what you are going for.

    What a unique gown!
    I would put him in a dark grey or black suit and have his vest/tie be the color(s) of the gown. You can keep it still very clean and classy whilst matching :o)

    I love that dress!  I'd probably suggest a lighter grey suit for the groom, or formal morning dress if you're having a morning/afternoon wedding and it would be appropriate.  Honestly, a morning suit with a dove grey waistcoat would look spectacular with the whole steampunk  aesthetic of that dress.

    oh, a morning suit would be dreamy with that. I think you can do any color three piece suit you wanted.  very cool gown.
