I received an email from the Head Event Specialist there - Venessa, stating that our Event Specialist - Joslin Carroll is no longer there and they are trying to hire somebody and they will contact us.

I'm sure they sent an email to all brides, but I wanted to pass along the info for anyone who may have missed it.

If you need Venessa's contact info, I'd be happy to pass along.

    I received the same email.  My wedding is the same weekend as yours at Belle Mer, have you done a tasting yet?

    Not yet, I emailed back because I really would like to set that up.  They want to do December, and that is one of the busiest months for me so I asked to set up the immediately.  I haven't heard back, but I did give her dates/times that would work so hopefully I'll hear something.

    Which room are you having the reception at?

    We are in the Salon, I also couldn't do December, so they scheduled my tasting in January. I was planning on sending out my invites in December and giving my guests three category choices, which obviously won't be determined till after my tasting. When are you sending your invites out? Do you have any vendors that you are using that you absoluetly loved? I am planning from far away so I have booked everything basically on recommendations. Thanks!

    I am trying to see if we can do the tasting in November, so I can send out my invitations in January.  I did a room block at the Hyatt & the Marriott to give people 2 different options for price, but both still in walking distance.  Both places have been great so that was good.  I am using See Monkey Photobooth, so far I've heard good things about other brides & vendors about them so I'm really excited about that.  I booked Memories RI as my photographer/videographer, again, I heard great things from people so I booked them.  Haven't met with them yet to do the engagement shoot.  I'm using a family friend for my florist, I will be having my trial with Kristin Greene in December, and depending on how that goes, I'll book her.

    For all other vendors, I'm waiting to go to the wedding expo the first weekend in November here so I can see if I can get some good deals on invitations, transportation, etc.
