Need a little help!

Hey girls! I have finally had some time to come on here and look for ideas. Right now I am trying to figure out what flowers I want to go with. my colors are royal blue and silver. The problem is that there really isnt a lot of blue flowers and my family is alergic to a lot of them and i want real flowers. Any one have any idea's of what flowers I could use.

We also figured out a "theme" for a reception and we decided to do a casino theme since my fi and i love card games. We want fun ways to incorporate this theme but at the same time have it still be classy and elegant. Any one have ideas on that as well. Thanks for helping girls!

  • with royal blue and silver I would picture white flowers with blue and silver accents from ribbon and such then you really open up your options for flowers since so many come in white. And could even go wiht dyeable flowers to add blue.

For the casion theme sorry I dont have very good ideas but maybe like chips with your date on them as favors? or incorporating a playing card theme into your escort cards. Name the tables after cards games rather then numbers. Just a few ideas, hope that helps!

  • You can use blue hydrangas, they are gorgeous I love them. And they can come in different shades of blue as well if you have the right florist. They don't really smell I don't think so they probably won't bother allergies. Check on TK and Google images, I know there are more blue flowers, I just saw an article in the fall TK magazine with a blue bouquet. I think the idea of naming your tables after different casino games instead of numbers, I think that's really good. Is your ceremony outside? You could make a fan out of cards, like a royal flush or something. Again, I would Google, or go on pinterest, and type in "casino themed weddings" and see what comes up. Love your colors by the way.

  • I would go with white flowers.  Blue flowers seem to come in so many different shades and unless you want light blue, sometimes they can get purple-y and who knows what your florist will show up with that day.  White can be dressed up with some fun blue sparkley reeds or ribbon to tie it in.

  • Sorry no help on the casino part, I think you can try to take things to glitz and glamour with the sparkly blues and silver but otherwise, when I think casino I associate that with reds.
